What we do

Welcome to Big Breakfast Plus. Find out more about how we support and serve homeless people in Swindon.

Breakfast with a difference

Hello, we are Big Breakfast Plus, a registered charity that offers a free cooked breakfast 7 days a week for homeless people in Swindon. We’re proud to serve over 7,000 hot and freshly cooked breakfasts every year! But it doesn’t stop there. Big Breakfast Plus gives homeless people the chance to relax and socialise in a warm place and offers easy access to important local support services including housing, employment, health and addiction.

That’s breakfast with a difference.

Big Breakfast Plus is the only charitable organisation in Swindon providing homeless people on the street with a free cooked breakfast, cereal and toast 7 days a week, with unlimited refills of hot drinks. Not only is the food hot but it is individually ordered and served, providing choice for those who have little or no choice in their lives. Big Breakfast Plus is based at The Haven Day Centre on Queens Drive and is open from 7-9AM Monday to Sunday. Annually, we welcome over 400 different individuals who are rough sleeping, sofa surfing or have no access to cooking facilities or income to pay for food.

Support Services

Big Breakfast Plus is a safe place for outreach workers from local homeless support organisations such as Threshold Housing Link, Swindon Night Shelter and Swindon Borough Council to provide advice and signposting on matters such as housing, employment, health and addiction.
