We are recruiting for a new cook to join our team!

As a Cook, your main role will be to prepare freshly cooked breakfasts for typically 20-40 guests each morning. Working alongside our team of volunteer assistants, you will help to ensure that everyone receives a friendly warm welcome and a hot meal to start their day. You will also need to keep track of stock levels and stock rotation, as well as ensuring the shared kitchen is left clean and tidy at the end of each shift.

In addition to your cooking skills, you will need a good knowledge of food safety, holding a Level 2 Food Hygiene in Catering certificate, in addition to completion of the FSA Allergens course. You will have a calm and organised approach and empathy towards people who are facing a challenging time.
