Some of our regular guests have come together to organise a football match on Sunday 11th November in Broad Green Park next to the Broadgreen Community Centre at 9AM. Supporters of Big Breakfast Plus and members of the local community are invited to attend.

The friendly match against Salvation Army’s Booth House residents, has been organised by regular Big Breakfast Plus guests, and aims to improve mental health and wellbeing, strengthen relationships and increase participation in sport for and by homeless people.

Can you help us?

To support our guests with this fantastic initiative we need your help! We are looking for:

  • Football kit, ideally in our house colours of black, white and yellow
  • Football socks (it is November after all)
  • Football boots
  • A football
  • A volunteer to referee

If you know anyone who could help by donating these items or offering to volunteer as a referee, please send a private message to our Facebook page or email hello@bigbreakfastplus.org.uk.

Even if you can’t support this specific initiative, you can still ‘Sponsor a Breakfast’ or make a donation towards kit for the team via our LocalGiving page. Every penny counts.

Thank you.
